Hong Kong dispose 390 tonnes of waste textiles every day, many of them are new unsold clothes. Every product we use consumes fossil fuels and may hinder sustainable development. Could we solve these problems by starting a green business?​

A green start-up, Unspun, aims to solve this problem through automated, localized, and intentional manufacturing. They apply 3D scanning and robotic techniques to custom-made jeans for consumers on-demand that not only ensure that consumers match perfectly to the size, but that off-cut denim waste. Also, the denim clippings would be reused to make dustbags for packing.​
