1-2. Click “Play Now” and unlock any route at the beginning

3. Click “SIGN UP” to register an account

4. Receive One-Time PW by entering an email address and click “Get OTP”

5. Click “SIGN UP” to finish after entering all information

1. Login after registration, choose to pay and unlock any urban hunt route

2-3. Select team type and enter members’ name (for e-certificate) before start

4. Click “START GAME” after entering all info; map and checkpoints will be shown

1. Click the black “Scan” button to scan checkpoint QR code
2. Click this to choose other routes

3. Click “Checklist” to view the photos and hints of all checkpoints

4-5. Complete the checkpoint by answering question correctly; re-answer after some time if wrong

1. Complete an amount of CPs to get e-certificate (via email); click “Close” to continue

2. Complete an amount of CPs to get e-coupon; click “Close” to continue, or pay for other routes

3. e-coupon redemption code could be retrieved at “Profile” > “E-Coupon”

01. When and Where will "Hong Kong Water Race 2022" be held?

“Hong Kong Water Race 2022” will be held between 29 Dec 2022 and 4 Jan 2023. During this period, participants could freely select their time to play, but it is reminded that some checkpoints of the routes have designated opening hours and arrangement under severe weather.
02. Is "Hong Kong Water Race 2022" still a large-scale event with thousands of people running together?

In view of the pandemic development and to prevent crowd gathering, “Hong Kong Water Race 2022” will not be organized as a large-scale event, but as a city hunting event using a mobile phone APP. Participants could select routes and arrange time to participate freely. The Organizer looks forward to organizing large-scale events when the pandemic relieves in the future.
03. Is the event covered by any insurance?

Public Liability Insurance is covered by the Organizer. Participants are advised to take up their own personal or other insurance policies separately, if necessary.

01. What is the eligibility of participating the event?

“Hong Kong Water Race 2022” has no limitation on the eligibility of participants. When forming a team with 1-4 members, participants could indicate their team type is “Family” or “Group”.
02. How much do I need to pay to participate?

Only the city hunting routes will be charged at HK$8 per route. When participants are interested in any route, they could use the online payment functions in the APP to unlock the route. Please be reminded that no payment will be refunded once the route is unlocked.
03. Why couldn't I receive the email from the Organizer?

Emails might be considered as SPAM and is in the junk mailbox. Please check the related mailbox. At your convenience in receiving our emails, please also mark “Hong Kong Water Race” (waterraceapp@wse.hk or waterracehk@wse.hk) as Safe Senders List.
